Stay active and moving safely – pre, during and post pregnancy
Many of our clients are mums at different stages of life. We cater for mums of all health and fitness abilities. Our trainers are able to tailor a workout to suit your changing needs and make sure that you ease back into fitness safely without putting too much stress on your pelvic floor.
Keeping active during pregnancy is a great way to stay healthy and help lower your risk of developing complications such as gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia and can be great for helping with energy levels and general mood. Most people that stay active during pregnancy also find labour and recovery a lot easier.
I really noticed a difference with this pregnancy as I maintained a much higher level of fitness. My mood was better, I had more energy and my recovery was also a lot quicker. Staying active meant that I was still working out 2 days before I gave birth and was back into the swing of things 6 weeks after baby was born. Monique – F2M Member
